Happy April Fools Day Friends!
I know that everyone has been very excited about the new Framed 3 iPhone App that we just released, we are very excited as well. Maybe you have already downloaded the new App, or maybe you aren’t quite convinced you should download it yet. Either way I want to take some time to explain to you how to link the new Framed 3 App to your already existing ImageChef account so you can access your remixes and so much more from your phone!
First off get started by going to the Apple Store and downloading the App if you don’t have it already, you can get there by clicking here.
Now that you have downloaded the app to your mobile device, click on the icon to launch Framed 3.
Once Framed 3 has launched you will see a page that looks like this:
On this page you can immediately get started putting you photos from your phone into frames, however if you want to log in to access your creations from your pre-existing ImageChef account you should click on the ‘Album’ Button on the bottom right. Once you have clicked the album button your screen will look like this:
Now you are going to click the ‘Register Online’ button in the top right hand corner to log into your account. For those of you who don’t have ImageChef accounts yet, this is where you can create one from your phone! After you click the ‘Register Online’ button a page will appear that looks like this:
Now click on either the ‘Sign in using Facebook’ button or the ‘Sign in using Email Address’ button, and you will be greeted with a page to enter your information that looks like this:
If you don’t have an ImageChef account yet you can create one on this page, but if you already have an account you will want to click the ‘Sign In’ button in the top right hand corner. On the next page you will enter your email address and password to log into your ImageChef account. Once you have entered your information you will be greeted with a page that looks like this:
Which means you have successfully logged into your account! Now you can click the ‘Album’ button in the top left hand corner and you will be redirected to a page with all your recent remixes that will look like this:
And that my friends is how you can log into your ImageChef account from our new Framed 3 iPhone App.
Post links to your latest remixes in the comments, or feel free to ask me any questions you might have. Hopefully this was helpful, and I’ll see you guys soon.

Hey folks! Today I wanted to walk you through a simple tutorial on how to make a template from your ImageChef creations.
What is a template you ask? Templates let others customize your creations, by allowing them to replace up to four photos inside a remix you designed with the Sketchpad tool.
Once you have created a template and saved it, it will be added to the collection of user made templates which you can find by clicking here.
So to get started make a design with sketchpad, if you are confused on how to use sketchpad you can check out our tutorial on it right over here.
So here is what my sketchpad design looks like before I begin to to turn it into a template:
Those of you who are looking closely probably have already notice the bright green “share as template” button in the top right hand corner, it looks like this:
So now the time has come to click that lovely green button, go ahead, click it…
Now a window should pop up allowing you to choose which parts of the image you would like to make customizable for other users, I chose the photograph at the center of my template:
After you have selected the images you want to make customizable click the bright green “save as template” button…..
Success! Now you should see in front of you a page that looks something like this:
Showing the template as one of your remixes, this means you have successfully created and shared a template with for other ImageChef users to enjoy! Your Template can now be found under the ‘Just Added’ User Made Template section of the ImageChef site.
Hopefully this was helpful, please comment with any questions or insights you might have, have fun making templates and I’ll see you guys later!
